Dr. Hanna completed her medical school at Rutgers-New Jersey Medical School in 1995. Her pediatric training was at UMDNJ-RWJUH, and St. Peter's Medical Center. She is Board Certified in Pediatrics. She had been a member of the Advisory Board Committee for Sanofi-Pasteur's Vaccine division.

Dr. Hanna was awarded Favorite Kids' Docs in New Jersey Family magazine from 2014 to 2024.

Having lived in the South Brunswick area since High School, she enjoys giving back to the community where she is from. She has been at Plaza Pediatrics since 2001 with Dr. Edward Blackman. In 2007, she took over from Dr. Blackman who retired in 2008. She Joined Advocare in 2023.

Dr. Hanna is affiliated with Robert Wood Johnson Hospital and St. Peter’s University Hospital, both located in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
She volunteers at her church community and enjoys spending time outdoors and with family.
